Welcome to my collection of Iowa landscape and nature photographs. I took most of these photographs while walking through forest, prairie, and wetland on the Jefferson County Trail System that surrounds the small community of Fairfield. Located in the southeastern portion of the state, this unique and culture rich town has been designated by the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs as one of Iowa’s “Great Places.”
